He lit the lamp
in 2010.
Deeva Light Pharma began with one idea: that good medicine should reach every town in Afghanistan, not only the big cities.

A diya is a small flame, but it is never allowed to go out. That is how I think about medicine. Our work is to keep the light on in every pharmacy, in every town, every single day.

Why a lamp
Deeva comes from diya, the oil lamp that is kept burning through the night. The founder chose the name because it describes the job: medicine is only useful if it is there when a patient needs it. A shelf that runs empty is a lamp that has gone out.

Everything under one roof
From the first shipments in 2010, he insisted that Deeva Light manage its own distribution instead of handing it to others. Import, storage and delivery stay in one team's hands, so stock reaches pharmacies promptly and in good condition. That decision built the largest distribution network in the country.

Partners he trusts
He works with a small number of manufacturing partners, Supermax, Alencure and Welcure, and builds each relationship to last. The range has grown to 73 medicines across 12 therapy areas, from hospital antibiotics to everyday care.

What comes next
The next chapter is about reaching further and serving pharmacists better: more medicines, faster ordering on WhatsApp, and practical guidance written in English, Dari and Pashto.
What he
stands for.
Every major town, not only the capital.
Trusted partners and imports that meet standards of safety and efficacy.
One team, one roof, stock that arrives when it is needed.
Supporting Afghanistan's doctors and pharmacists, from congresses to the counter.
